Ben Folds Five Reunion Concert →
This is amazing. In a way, I can’t even believe this happened. I am hoping for the full reunion tour, but I doubt it’s a real possibility. When Ben played “Underground” at Terminal Five earlier this month, I think that’s the closest I’ll get to ever hearing the Five live again.

Sarah Palin Meets Woody Allen
“Sarah had it all: a great job, a bright future, God’s love, and the kind of expensive wardrobe most women would give up their guns for. But there was still something missing in her life. Then she met Woody, a neurotic Jew who got nervous whenever he went to real America and couldn’t tell a moose from an elk. Would these two opposites somehow...

Watchdog: Mets officially re-up to remain on WFAN →
The always fantastic Neil Best of Newsday comes through with the news I have been waiting for on his great Watchdog blog. I’ve discussed this before, when Best broke the news last month that this deal was likely to happen, explaining why staying on WFAN is so important for the Mets. Now all they need is some relief pitching.
Amazing. This turned out even better than I expected. Congrats to Charlie and all involved on a really fantastic job.

I submit this for best tumblr post in history. You can shut down this website now.

“George Costanza uses the term “jerk store” as a part of a comeback to one of his coworkers at the New York Yankeesnamed Reilly (Joel Polis). When Reilly catches George stuffing himself with shrimp cocktail at a meeting, Reilly remarks: “Hey George, the ocean called; they’re running out of shrimp.”...

Definitely going to this event at the 92Y on Sunday. Cannot wait. Third time at the Y in the last six weeks!

Funny dudes/writers Daniel Radosh, A.J. Jacobs and David Rakoff will be doing a talk at the Y this Sunday about their respective Judeo-Christian experiences. But first, here’s a Q&A between Radosh and Jacobs. Good stuff. It’s the first time (hopefully last?)...
"Manhattan" Day
This is a fantastic idea. Such a great one, in fact, that I take credit for doing an “Annie Hall” walking tour nearly two years ago. I am obsessed.
Don’t forget Elaine’s, where the film opens, or the Guggenheim, where Woody sees Diane Keaton. Unfortunately, the bench on Sutton Square under the Queensboro Bridge no longer exists.
