WWE.com: Rob Van Dam Alumni Page
Here is the second of my features today for WWE.com. The “Superstar Page” for one of my favorite all-time performers, Rob Van Dam. This includes all the milestones on his timeline, his bio, and any related photos and videos. The old ECW stuff he was involved in from 1996-2001 is hard to come by, so some of this is pretty rare. We’re slowly launching lots of “vintage” performers, including Sting last week and “Ravishing” Rick Rude the week before.

WWE Classics: The Strange Cases of 7 Missing Titles
I’ve got two features going up on WWE.com today that I’m very proud of. This is the first, a piece with pretty obscure information for even the most nerdy of wrestling fans. It discusses seven championships that were defended on a regular basis at one time, but then seemingly vanished.
For the fanboys out there, we did not include titles like the European and Hardcore Championships that were officially unified with other titles on television. Instead, only championships that simply disappeared.
We dug deep into the vault to grab photos and videos for this one. Enjoy!

I was there. It was one of my most favorite “only in New York” type of nights.

“So this is to say with a full heart, thank you. Thank you.” -Maurice Sendak at 92Y in 2008 for his 80th birthday party celebration with Spike Jonze, Meryl Streep, James Gandolfini and more. Watch the video on The New York Times.

One Was Johnny - Carole King

My favorite song from “Really Rosie.” I used to put this on mixtapes. No wonder I’m single.
