With Thanksgiving week approaching, that must mean the airing of the second of the three classic Peanuts specials (technically the third in terms of when they were made). A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is not quite as good as Great Pumpkin, and is nowhere close to A Charlie Brown Christmas, but it will air Tuesday at 8:00pm on ABC and will repeat on Thanksgiving night. This year, it will be paired with This is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyagers. Circa 1620 Peanuts will give you a history lesson, but this really must be set in the pre-colonial era. If this truly is America, Charlie Brown, would Franklin really be sitting on the other side of the table all by himself?
